You have Cows???

Wow! Pretty much I am so impressed that you got cows!!! So did I ever tell you my dream about milking a cow? I know it is similar to a goat but I really want to milk a cow. Will you keep her for the next year so that way I can come home and milk a cow???

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Mom I would love some music that are gospel, such as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Mens voices, or Mercy River, or David Archaletta (how ever you spell his name) and really anything like that.

This past week we did mormon helping hands! Did any of you do that??? It was fun we did hygiene kits for the homeless. The rest of the ward built a ramp for someone on their house and did something else on the other house. I never heard of Mormon helping hands days when I was in Utah, so was I just out of the loop? 

Transfers are next week and my comp is a little scared about what is going to happen. Her language is coming along but oh boy, she wasn't feeling the best about speaking English when we went and met with a less active who is a little brash and honest up front like. Well, she got done talking and the less active looked at her and said "I couldn't understand a word of what you said" She was so surprised and frankly so was I, and I just thought well there is insult to injury right there. But fortunately we have awesome members who helped her feel much better about life! I am interested to know what will happen this upcoming transfer. I just feel like a lot of changes will be coming...and we are only getting 4 new sisters. One is from Haiti and the other 3 are Americans. It will be interesting. It was so funny though cause we made Mongolian food for a member and it didn't come out like it was suppose to and Sister T was so ashamed. You know how you try to tell people that the food is okay even when it isn't??? Well, the member took a bite and his face just gave it all away and I couldn't help but keep laughing the rest of the day because it was the funniest facial expression. And honestly the food wasn't bad at all. It just needed salt and ketchup to make it edible! Just kidding, it really was edible. She had made better before though. Part of the reason was that it was bulk instead of feeding just the two of us. But she learned the word persecute and she kept telling me that I was persecuting her. It was fun.  I like her a lot. 

Miracle for the week was that we were able to help one of our agnostic members recognize the spirit. It was amazing! The spirit was so strong and I just thank Our Father in Heaven for the tender mercies that he gives us on a daily basis!

Easter

Hey Everyone,

So yesterday I kinda forgot that Easter back home consisted of more than going to church. Until a member brought us Easter baskets and then I remembered. Not for long though. It is funny that I forgot though seeing as that has been a huge tradition in our family for so long. Ah, well, it was nice because we were able to share an Easter based message with 3 different families who we came in contact with. I don't feel that I used Easter to it's fullest while proselyting.

We are so blessed out here. We had zone conference on Saturday. They focused on trying to get us to say more doctrine and cut out the "fluff". This is when I realize that I talk a lot, and most of the things I have to say are fluff. Haha, so as I practice this I will basically be learning how to stop talking. We also learned about how important the Book of Mormon is. It is always strengthening my testimony when we talk about the Book of Mormon. I love it. Sister T and I always try to find answers through praying over it and then just opening the book. Seriously, it has worked every time. It is amazing!

Well I have continued to study the Plan of Salvation and how Christ is Risen. What it means to me. I am coming to understand so much more about God's purpose for us, and what I can do to help Him. I would encourage everyone to study that more. It definitely has brought me more peace as I have studied it. 

I now can sing Happy Birthday in Samoan, French, Mongolian, and English. By the time I get back I will be quite a linguistic person! JK.

Sisters' P-day

Community Gardens Service Project!

Hello!!! From California

Hey so update on the weather...currently it is 90 degrees outside. I really enjoy the weather. I am hoping that I will get some color soon. 

Culture tid-bit so in Mongolia they do not like brown skin. They dislike it a lot. So Sister T is turning brown quickly and she is quite distressed...sad how our culture and hers is completely opposite. I on the other hand have been mortified at how white I have gotten. I feel that it is opposite. It is so easy for her to brown and so easy for me to get white. I should love being white she should like being brown. Maybe at the end of all this I will be happy being white. Although now that we will be in hotter temps and such I think that I will brown and have lovely tan lines when I come home :)

Well, this past week we have been so edified by the conference talks! I absolutely loved it! we were able to watch one session in a part member home. It was great! They felt the spirit that is for sure! 

Sounds like so much fun with conference and everyone coming home! Don't worry the rebuke of no pictures especially of all the babies together this weekend was just revoked due to Dianna's email of pictures...Thanks!!!

Transfers are here once again...

Ello....

So transfers have come up once again and I am staying in Cerritos 1st ward and Sister Tumurbaatar is staying my companion...which isn't a big surprise we expected that. The Elders area is getting white washed though...weird. The one elder is leaving and the other one is getting transferred. Let me just say saying goodbye to elders that are leaving is so weird. I don't know what to say or do. Yes I know I am getting awkward because that was weird...oh well. He is from Chile. Things are changing. 

Next form of business... So we had an earthquake down here...did you hear about it!!!! It was interesting. We had just gotten home and closed our door. We are on the bottom floor and the people above us are really loud sometimes and we can hear every time they move and we just ignore it most of the time. And occasionally the apt manager who has something against us even though we don't do anything tells us not to slam the door every time we close the door. Trust me we don't. So we had just closed the door and were getting ready to plan when the people upstairs just start going busurk! and stomping everywhere and I am looking at the ceiling just thinking really? really? you snore at night and keep us up we barely shut the door it isn't that loud what is your deal??? then I started feeling the ground under me move and I realized that this was an earthquake...Sister T grabbed my arm and she was pretty scared. So what did we do? We go outside...yep that is what we did. Thankfully the earthquake ended then and didn't continue because basically had it escalated and continued we would have been killed by all the things that would have fallen on our heads. That is what was going through my head as it stopped. I was like wow, you know I am not from around here. Plus when I first realized what it was it is the what do you do? Elementary school came to my mind and we have a table that we could go under but I wouldn't do that because it is not so stable. like really if anything fell on it we would just get crushed. So hopefully you can make sense of my run-on sentences and what not because I don't know how to properly punctuate my thoughts. 

Well we found an el salvado family this past week. Our less active that we  have been working with since I got here has started coming to church and is just blossoming!!! We love it! Life is good, the gospel is true!!!

Cami's Birthday

Well Shout out to Cami for her Birthday!!! and Jaryd on the 29th! Love you Both! So yesterday we ate dinner at a members house who had their grandchildren there and one of them was 6 months old and a little boy. Can't even tell you how much I wish I could see all my nephews! He was so adorable smiling and playing with us (don't worry we didn't hold him, we were good missionaries). But oh man it was such a reminder of all the little boys at home! Aunt Josee take good care of Conner, I know Alexa and Cierra will, you...well you might need help in your old age...just kidding. I am just really jealous :)

Yesterday we had another miracle find! A lady walked into the church trying to find out more about it. We were just on our way out and her daughters were like mom no ones here, church is over. Well we said no, come on in. We will show you around. It was amazing! Can't even tell you how blessed we are having the gospel in our lives. If everyone just new what they are missing out on and what they would gain from the gospel we would just be overwhelmed with people to teach. Sounds like everyone is pretty busy now. Uncle Mike, good luck! I would vote for you if I could! you will do awesome!

Mom, Time out for women is amazing! Are you excited for basically another one this coming weekend???

Will. I can imagine the whole thing. When I say that when people told me about what the elders did and how they acted prior to my mission it was easy to imagine but unreal at the same time. Now that I interact with missionaries that do crazy things I am just like wow. All the stories I heard prior to my mission are so true and now I can actually see it happening. Just crazy!

Well thats my life to this point.
